Emily Hall, MDiv.

Tutor Operations Manager

Originally from an Appalachian holler of East Tennessee, Emily (she/her) has called North Carolina home for more than five years. In 2016, she became the first in her family to graduate from college with a BA in Spanish from Berea College in eastern Kentucky.

She spent two “gap” years working the Spanish-speaking branches of nonprofit organizations in Winston-Salem, NC through the Episcopal Service Corps. In 2018, she decided to combine her motivation for justice-seeking with education at Wake Forest University School of Divinity. Shortly after graduation, Emily joined the HEF Charlotte team in the summer of 2021 as the Tutor Operations Manager.

When Emily is not coordinating tutor-student schedules or promoting HELPS around CLT, you can find her throwing mud on a pottery wheel, re-reading Harry Potter for the umpteenth time, or playing disc golf.
