Tom Lacey

HELPS Implementation Coach and Site Coordinator, Charlotte

Tom was born in England. In 2016, Tom came to America gained Permanent Residency. In England he worked as a fitness Instructor and picked up the enjoyment for educating others on the importance of their body and nutrition. Tom also worked as an on-call community firefighter and particularly enjoyed giving presentations about fire safety in local schools.

Tom received his bachelor’s degree in Combined STEM from the Open University, starting in England and finishing whilst living in America. His studies focused on Psychology and Sport Psychology.

He has been a member of the Rotary International for more than 10 years and has enjoyed giving back to the community. In 2014, Tom was awarded a Paul Harris Fellow recognition for his participation. After moving to North Carolina in 2020, Tom became a member of the Davidson Rotary Club.

In his spare time Tom enjoys karate, family time with his wife and son, meditation, and taking long drives to see the beautiful landscapes of North Carolina.
